DTS Outreach

Throughout the initial 12 week classroom phase students will have opportunities for local outreach which include working within our Refuel Coffee Haus (an emerging ministry), building relationships local college students, sharing at local schools, mercy ministries amongst the homeless in downtown Georgetown or Kuala Lumpur, neighborhood service projects, or English teaching/tuition.

Upon the completion of this classroom phase we will embark upon an eight week ministry adventure into the surrounding nations. The emphasis of this time is application of principles taught in the classroom phase whilst in cross cultural environments. Past DTS teams have been involved in everything from village evangelism in Nepal to encouraging tribal believers in the jungles of Borneo from serving churches in Bangladesh to prayer walks in China. At the start of each school staff and students seek God as to His purposes and plans for their outreach(es) thus enabling each ministry adventure to have it's own unique, exciting flavor.
